FAQ

Questions, answered.

How SupplyStock works, what it costs and how it fits a business with many sites. Can't find your answer? Ask us.

The service

What is an inventory control area?

A geofenced supply room, closet or storage area at your site where your supplies live. Tags on the stock and readers in the area record what is taken, so the system always knows what's on hand.

How does "pay for what you consume" work?

Your inventory control area records what is taken. Each month you're charged for what your sites consumed, checked before it's billed, rather than paying up front for stock on the shelf.

Do my staff still place orders?

Not routine ones. Restocking is automatic. Staff can still build an order for something new and share the cart for approval.

Is there a minimum spend?

Managed programs start at a $5,000 minimum monthly spend, with a one-time $500 onboarding that includes setting up your inventory control area. Below that, we offer price quotes in 2 days. There are no minimum orders: when an item drops below its threshold, we ship the replacement, even if it's a single item.

Can we manage several sites?

Yes. Every site appears in one view, and roles decide who can see and do what at each one.

Pricing and billing

What does the managed program cost?

The managed program has a $5,000 minimum monthly spend and a one-time $500 onboarding fee, which includes setting up the inventory control area. After that you are charged each month for what your sites consumed. There are no minimum orders. See pricing.

What if we spend less than $5,000 a month?

Ask for a price quote instead. We quote on the items you need within 2 days, for a one-time purchase or for a business not yet ready for a managed program. Request a quote.

For multi-site organizations

Can head office restrict what sites order?

Yes. Your catalog controls what each site can order.

Can regional managers see only their region?

Yes. What each person sees is set by their role and their sites.

Can all our sites share one bill?

Charges are based on what each site actually used and are consolidated per organization. Consolidated invoicing is coming.

What happens if an item is unavailable?

We source an equivalent and switch it in, so the site stays stocked.

How are savings measured?

A free price comparison up front, then our team's ongoing review of your products and suppliers. An automatic savings report is coming.

How long does a rollout take?

The same four steps at every site: price comparison, catalog, inventory control area, launch. We agree the order and the dates with you, so sites go live one after another without disrupting the ones already running.
